Percent-encode or decode query parameters, paths, and URLs.
Features#
- URL Encode: Converts special characters, spaces, and punctuation into standard percent-encoded escape sequences (
%20,%26,%3D, etc.). The entire selection is encoded as a single component, so delimiters such as:,/, and?in a full URL are encoded too — use it for a value you intend to embed in another URL. - URL Decode: Converts percent-encoded hex sequences back into readable UTF-8 characters.
- Smart Activation: URL Decode automatically appears when the selection contains percent-encoded characters (
%XX). - Local & Offline: Runs directly in OpenClip's JavaScriptCore engine with zero network calls.
Usage#
- Select text to encode, or an encoded URL/query parameter string to decode.
- Trigger URL Encode in OpenClip.
- Choose URL Encode or URL Decode to replace or copy the converted text.
